The special course underwater navigation helps you to understand the underwater world, to orientate yourself in it and to "go" new paths. Who hasn't had to snorkel back to the dock or boat?! As a real underwater navigator, you will find your way out unerringly, but above all you will also be able to discover new things and worlds.

Course content:

Learn how to safely use the underwater compass and navigate with it. Learn the basics of natural orientation and thus increase the safety of your buddy and yourself.

Course duration: 1 session of 6 hours each

1 theory lesson

2 dives in open water (lake)

Theory training:

The basics of navigation, how to use the compass and natural orientation are taught to you in a theory block. Detailed briefings help you apply and deepen what you have learned.

Practical training: (2 dives in the diving lake)

Learn to plan and carry out a dive step by step using natural and technical aids.

We carry out the open water dives at Fühlinger See (Cologne) or at the lake in Widdauen (Leverkusen). Plus €15 entry fee/day sea base (to be paid on site). The journey is on your own. You will receive further information regarding meeting point etc. after registration.

Complete quality rental equipment (including ABC equipment)

This course is part of the iac Advanced Open Water Divers.
