As a recreational diver, you must meet certain health requirements. You can find out whether a medical examination is required before participating in diving by filling out the so-called medical statement / declaration of health (see below). If you answer certain questions with YES, we will require a medical certificate from you that you are fit to dive. If you can answer the "critical questions" with NO, it is up to you whether you have an examination carried out. We generally recommend that all divers who want to dive regularly have a fitness to dive regularly (regularly = under 18 years and over 40 years: 1 x per year / between 18 and 40 years: every 3 years). Safety First! Please read the medical statement carefully and note the information at the bottom of page 1.
If you need a diving fitness test, here is some information:1. Any doctor can certify that you are fit to dive. You can ask your GP if he or she knows what he or she is doing.2. You can find certified diving doctors at the GTUEM (Society for Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine). Here you can find the addresses of the> GTUEM doctors. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time!Your dive4life team
