Underwater photography is a hobby within a hobby and, for many, pure passion.

The Digital Underwater Photographer special course is the ideal introduction to the incredible world of underwater photography. Regardless of whether it's schools of sharks or small creatures with a macro lens, the underwater world has motifs in abundance. The handling of the photographic equipment (camera, housing, light, flash) needs to be practiced, the refraction of the light and the magnification of the subject through the water are known, and the perspective must be well chosen.

To take part in the course you will need your own underwater camera equipment. You are also welcome to bring your own laptops to evaluate the images.

Course content:

You will learn the basics of underwater photography during a theory lesson and two training dives with an underwater camera.

Course duration: 1 session of 6 hours each

1 theory lesson

2 dives in the indoor diving center

Theory training:

Refraction of light, magnification through water, perspective, ISO or aperture are just a few terms that we teach in a theory lesson. Detailed briefings before and after the dives help you apply and deepen what you have learned.

Practical training: (2 dives)

Armed with an underwater camera, you will carry out two training dives in the indoor diving center. There are perfect conditions here to hone the art of photography.
