This course is your introduction to diving!

The DIN/ISO compliant & internationally recognized training entitles you to dive worldwide to a depth of 20m.

The OWD - Open Water Diver is your introduction to diving. In this course you will learn all the skills you need to carry out independent dives worldwide up to depths of 20m.

Duration of course: 4 appointments of 4 hours each

3 dates in the indoor diving center

1 date outdoor (diving lake)

Theoretical training: After registering, you will receive access to our e-learning. This makes it easy for you to prepare for the course. During the appointments in the indoor diving center, the practice questions are discussed, any questions are answered and the theory test is completed (30 MP questions).

Practical training: (7 dives) With a pool depth of 20m and a water temperature of 26°C, our indoor center offers the perfect environment for professional diving training. You complete the practical training on 4 dates:

Date 1: Indoor training 4 hours / 1 dive, theory discussion Date 2: Indoor training 4 hours / 2 dives Date 3: Indoor training 4 hours / 2 dives, theory test

Date 4: Open water training 4 hours / 2 dives

We carry out the final open water dives at Fühlinger See (Cologne). Plus €15 entry fee/day sea base (to be paid on site). The journey is on your own. You will receive further information regarding meeting point etc. after booking.

The Junior OWD entitles children and young people aged 10 to 14 to go on accompanied dives of up to 12m water depth. From the age of 15, the Junior OWD automatically becomes an “Adult OWD”.
