After this course you will be an advanced diver! You are allowed to take part in dives up to a depth of 30m (freshwater) / 40m (saltwater) with an equally trained partner!

Course content:

Your knowledge from the iac Open Water Diver course will be expanded. With the AOWD diving license you will acquire sophisticated skills in three different specialist areas of diving. You begin to take more responsibility for yourself and your buddy and achieve the status of an advanced diver!

Contents of the iac AOWD course are 3 special courses (SK):

Date 1: SK Buoyancy – Indoor (2 dives) Buoyancy is the art of diving! Perfect floating allows you to enjoy the underwater world in a completely new way. Date 2: SK Navigation - open water/lake (2 dives)

Accurate orientation is an elementary skill for independent dives without a guide! Date 3: SK deep diving - open water/lake (2 dives) Qualification in theory and practice for dives beyond the 20m mark!

Including:

Complete quality rental equipment (including ABC equipment) Certification fees Brevet (diving certificate in card format by post) & eCard (digital card)

We carry out open water dives at Fühlinger See (Cologne) and in Panheel (NL). Plus €15 entry fee per day at the sea base (paid on site). The journey is on your own. You will receive further information regarding meeting points etc. after registration.

To gain more diving experience or take your skills to a higher level, you can join the D4L Club or take other specialty courses.
